2000 Chairman, NZ Dental Technicians Board

Keith Pine was appointed to the NZ Dental Technicians Board in 2000 and at his first meeting was elected as the board’s Chairman. He served in this role for 6 years and worked with dentists, dental therapists and dental hygienists to set up a combined Dental Council. A points system for continuous professional development (CPD)  was introduced under Keith Pine’s  chairmanship along with other reforms that promoted dental technology standards and higher professional ideals for dental technicians.
